Japanese movies & animation: from Yasujirō Ozu to Akira Kurosawa to Hayao Miyazaki; I find the movies to be talking about things that I see as most important in life, and animations to be beautiful pieces of art.
food: I am concerned about the experiments with food on a large scale: food with GMO is very widespread, and effects of genetically modified food have not been studied... I choose to be conservative and stick to organic.

From the top of my head...
pottery: I find it so satisfying to spend time with clay making pottery: from kneading clay, to centering it on a wheel, to shaping and then trimming, and glazing... it is like mixing clay with love in your hands.
people: different people are like different books that you continuously read, the further you go, the more interesting it becomes.
nature: I am amazed at the beauty of nature: everything in nature is perfect, as opposed to what humans make at times.

I am a graphic/web designer with 8 + years of experience. I am creative, skilled, with an eye for detail, and have a genuine enthusiasm for web design and making information work for people.

A native of Russia, I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Moscow. I have lived in the USA for the last 12 years and worked mostly as a freelance designer after completing Web and Graphic Design Programs at Parkland College in Champaign, IL.
